About me:

Ashley Irvine is a violinist, pianist, and music educator based in Parker, Colorado with over fifteen years of musical training and performance experience. She is currently pursuing dual Bachelor of Music degrees in Classical Violin Performance and Classical Piano Performance at Metropolitan State University of Denver after graduating Summa Cum Laude from University of Colorado Denver with a Bachelor of Science in International Business.

Ashley performs actively throughout Colorado as both a classical and mariachi musician. She is a violinist with the MSU Denver Symphony Orchestra and has also performed with the Denver Chamber Orchestra. In addition to her classical training, Ashley has performed professionally with mariachi ensembles including Mariachi Aguila and Los Correcaminos de MSU Denver Mariachi. She was also selected as a member of Mariachi Estelares de Colorado, Colorado’s All-State Mariachi Ensemble, where she performed with Grammy-nominated artist Lupita Infante and Grammy-winning group La Santa Cecilia at Levitt Pavilion Denver.

Ashley was selected as a scholarship recipient for both the Vilacello String & Piano Winter Workshop in PA in 2026 and the Vilacello String & Piano Summer Music Festival in 2025, where she continued advanced studies in violin and piano performance. She has taught violin and piano lessons since 2021 through her private studio, Musically Dreaming. She has worked with students of all ages and experience levels, helping students build strong technical foundations, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music. Many of her students participate in school orchestras, bands, performances, recitals, and competitions.

In addition to private teaching, Ashley has been involved in music education outreach programs throughout Colorado and Mexico. She served as a Teaching Artist at the Viva Southwest Festival and taught mariachi workshops and violin instruction to over 100 students in Guadalajara and surrounding communities in Mexico. Ashley is passionate about creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel inspired to grow both musically and personally.

“Music begins where the possibilities of language end.”
